Aruba AP Foundation

Aruba AP Foundation is a new licensing model introduced by Aruba as part of their transition to an Edge-to-Cloud Platform-as-a-Service organization.

The license includes all the features that were in previous Device Management tokens as well as additional features that were previously available as value-added services for APs.

The license model offers specific [[Licenser]] for APs and gateways, where these [[Licenser]] cannot be used interchangeably (for example, an AP Foundation License cannot be used on a gateway).

The Aruba AP Foundation License is part of [[Aruba Central]]‘s managed portfolio and provides the flexibility to choose services and device operations that are best suited for the specific business.

The new license model offers fixed [[Licenser]] for periods of 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 years.
